What we collect

Close to nothing, and none of it is about you personally. Last updated 26 July 2026.

The calculator

Every number you type runs through JavaScript in your own browser. Sold prices, costs, categories and the profit figure are never sent anywhere. There is no account, no login and no form. Close the tab and it's gone.

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookies and uses no tracking scripts, so there is no consent banner to click through.

Third parties

None on the page. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so loading the site doesn't tell anyone else that you visited.

The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, as any web host does. Their privacy terms cover that.

If you email us

Mailing hello@listmargin.com means we have your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it to reply and nothing else. It doesn't get sold, shared, or added to a mailing list.

The embedded version

If you're using the calculator inside someone else's page, the same applies: your inputs stay in your browser. The widget reports only its own height to the page around it, so the frame can be sized correctly. That message contains a number and nothing else.

Changes

If this ever stops being accurate, for example because analytics gets added, the change will be described here with a new date rather than quietly folded in.
