eBay Motors fees
Vehicles don't pay a percentage.
A forty-thousand-dollar truck costs $79 to sell.
Vehicles run on a separate fee schedule from everything else on eBay: a flat listing fee set by the sale price, and no final value fee when it sells. That makes eBay unusually cheap for expensive vehicles. The figures below apply to listings created on or after April 15, 2026.
The two fee bands

Exactly $15,000 lands in the $34 band. On auctions, the band is set by the highest of the starting bid, the reserve price, or the Buy It Now price.
The deposit processing fee
If you collect a deposit through eBay, there's a 2.8% processing fee on the deposit amount, charged when the vehicle sells and the buyer pays it. On a $500 deposit, the 2.8% deposit processing fee comes to $14.00, so $486.00 of the deposit reaches you. That sentence is computed by the same engine as our calculator, and it matches the worked example eBay publishes.
Two traps sellers hit
The band boundary is a cliff. A sale at $15,000 pays $34; a dollar more pays $79. Same shape as the sneaker rule on the main schedule. If you're pricing an auction near the boundary, remember the band is set by the highest of the starting bid, the reserve price, or the Buy It Now price, not the final hammer price.
Parts & Accessories are not vehicles. The flat-fee schedule covers motorized vehicle listings only:

- eBay Motors > Boats
- eBay Motors > Other Vehicles
Everything else in the Motors tree — parts, tires, tools, car electronics — pays normal final value fees. The calculator handles those categories, including the store-rate rows parts sellers get.

Dealer subscriptions
eBay publishes no pricing for dealer subscriptions. It's phone (866-322-9227) and email only, so any number you read elsewhere is somebody's guess. We don't model what eBay doesn't publish.
